Consultation has now concluded

Council has placed its draft Operational Plan, Revenue Policy and Fees and Charges for 2020-21 on public exhibition from 24 April until 1 June 2020.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, regular community meetings are unable to proceed. However, Council will be holding virtual community meetings during the exhibition period. Further details will be announced.

About the documents:

Draft Operational Plan: Focuses on 2020-21 and includes the projects and activities Council will undertake. Includes a detailed budget and capital works program for 2020-21.

Draft Revenue Policy: Outlines what Council proposes to charge for general rates and water, sewer and waste access and consumption fees for 2020-21. This document includes the adopted harmonised rating structure for QPRC. The harmonisation of rates was required to be implemented for the 2020-21 financial year, following the merger of Queanbeyan and Palerang councils in 2016.

Draft Fees and Charges: Covers all of the fees and charges Council levies for things like venue hire, sportsgrounds, aquatic centre, development applications and much more.
