A Related Party Disclosures Policy is required by legislation. All Council policies need to be reviewed within 12 months of the Local Government Election.

Proposed changes

  • Only minor amendments are proposed, mainly titles of roles.

Background

The policy ensures that Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council’s (QPRC's) financial statements contain disclosures necessary to draw attention to Council’s related parties, transactions and outstanding balances, including commitments, with such parties.
