Council is gathering feedback for the next Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) from 2026 – 2030.
We want to hear from people with disability, carers, service providers, and the general community.
The Disability Inclusion Action Plan guides Council’s work to improve accessibility and inclusion across our region.
The plan will address four key areas that are important in creating an inclusive community:
- Developing positive community attitudes and upholding the rights of people with disability
- Creating liveable and safer communities
- Supporting access to meaningful employment and independence
- Improving access to mainstream services through better systems and processes

Surveys must be received by Council by Thursday 5 March 2026.
