Proposed Lease - Respite Care for Queanbeyan - 16 Agnes Avenue

In accordance with S47 of the Local Government Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Council proposes to grant a Lease to the Respite Care for Queanbeyan Incorporated to use the land and erect buildings at 16 Agnes Avenue Queanbeyan (fronting Ross Road) for the development of a Respite Care Centre for a thirty (30) year period from 1 July 2020.

The Proposal:

• Form – Lease
• Term - 30 Years
• Commencement - 1 March 2020
• Property Description: Lots 33 – 35 DP 14341 known as 16 Agnes Avenue, Queanbeyan (fronting on to Ross Road)
• Rental - $498 per annum (indexed and linked to Crown Land Minimum rental fee)
• Address – 16 Agnes Avenue Queanbeyan. (Fronting Ross Road; in time a Ross Road address will be allocated to the site).
• Permitted Use: Respite Care Centre or people from 18 to 60 years of age with a chronic or terminal illness.

The proposed lease will be open for community comment from Wednesday 22 January 2020 until Monday 24 February 2020.
