Consultation has concluded
CLOSED: Stage one of engagement has concluded.
We are currently developing our new Waste Management Strategy which will cover our entire Local Government Area.
One of the key components of this strategy will be ascertaining how we can serve and assist both the community and businesses to improve their waste management practices. To assess the effectiveness of our current waste management activities, we are inviting residents and businesses to complete a short survey.
Completed surveys will be used to inform the development of the new Strategy.
The first stage of engagement closes on Friday 9 November 2018.
View our Waste Strategy Storymap and find out more about current waste management services in the LGA. You can interact with maps describing where the streams of waste come from and where they go to, see our current waste facilities, find out about problem wastes and more. Click the link above or on the image.
We have also developed a FAQs document, to give you a quick overview of why we need a Waste Strategy and what our current services and key issues are. Find that in the document library on the right.
