Consultation has now concluded

Following the public exhibition of Council’s draft Integrated Plans, Council has resolved to seek further community comment on some proposed amendments to the Delivery Program and Fees and Charges. In line with the Local Government Act, any significant change to the exhibited Delivery Program and the introduction of new fees and charges must be placed on public exhibition for 28 days.

Council resolved at its Extraordinary Meeting on 28 June 2018 to adopt the Delivery Program 2018-21, however the following projects are subject to further public exhibition:

The following new/amended fees and charges are also on public exhibition

  • Braidwood Recreation Ground – use of lights - $10 per hour
  • Where a solid fuel heater appliance is included with construction certificate application – increase calculated construction certificate fee by $320
  • Fee for advertising proposed street name – at cost
  • Creation of traffic control plan - $50 per hour
  • Increase the release fee for impounded articles (including shopping trolleys and sandwich board signs) from $80-$120.

Comments are open on these proposed amendments until 27 July.
