Consultation has concluded

Council appreciates all the feedback received on the concept design during the consultation period. A final report on the feedback we received is now available in the document library on the right.
At the 28 August 2019 meeting of Council, Council resolved to:
1. Receive and note the Public Consultation Report 2. Adopt Concept Design Option 1 for construction 3. Install wind rated light pole/s for illumination and potential banners. 4. Retain the existing treescape as much as possible.
***Public Consultation***
A new roundabout at the corner of Malbon and Molonglo Sts in Bungendore will result in reduced traffic congestion and increased safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
Council has released the concept design for the roundabout for community comment, prior to construction commencing in the second quarter of 2019. The estimated $2.5m construction of the roundabout will be funded by a grant from the NSW Government.
The consultation will ensure that all aspects are considered in the construction of the roundabout, including the amenity of the roundabout.
