Bunyip Drive and Old Cooma Road intersection

Consultation has now concluded.

We are seeking the community's preference on five different options for the intersection of Bunyip Drive and Old Cooma Road in Googong.

This intersection will service Neighbourhoods 3-5 at Googong providing access to Old Cooma Road.

The options are as follows:

Option 1 - Single lane roundabout
Option 2 - Single lane roundabout with a bypass lane heading north on Old Cooma Road
Option 3 - Priority intersection - giveway arrangement or seagull intersection
Option 4 - Traffic signals will hold all through traffic on Old Cooma Road while the traffic in Bunyip Drive is cleared
Option 5 - Traffic signals that provide for a by-pass lane for traffic heading north towards Queanbeyan
