We are seeking the community’s feedback on the Compliance and Enforcement Policy.

The policy has been reviewed with the following minor changes:

  • Minor Change to Clause 5.5 to correct a typographical error.
  • Minor change to Clause 8.7.2 to remove reference to Community Justice Centres as these are now only available for court ordered mediation.
  • Minor change to Clause 8.8.4(a) to remove reference to Community Justice Centres.

The policy aims to provide information about Council's position on compliance and enforcement matters.

The Compliance and Enforcement Policy is open for community comment from Monday 2 February until Monday 2 March 2026. Read the document above.

Feedback can be provided on the proposed names by:

  1. Completing an Online Submission Form (below)
  2. Completing the quick poll (Yes or No)
  3. Emailing feedback directly to council@qprc.nsw.gov.au with the subject title "Compliance and Enforcement Policy review"
  4. Handwriting your submission and delivering it to Council's Customer Service Centres
  5. Posting your submission to PO Box 90, Queanbeyan NSW 2620

Submissions must be received by Council by Monday 2 March 2026. Any submissions received may be included in the final report to Council.
