Consultation has concluded

Council previously committed to preparing a structure plan for Braidwood to guide future development in the town. The discussion paper is the first stage in developing the structure plan and is primarily a desk-top review of the demographic trends and environmental constraints in Braidwood.

The discussion paper is intended to start the conversation with the Braidwood community on the issues that matter most and seeks guidance on the direction of future growth in Braidwood. The discussion paper and submissions arising from the community engagement will form the basis of the draft Braidwood Structure Plan.

It is expected that the draft Braidwood Structure Plan will be placed on public exhibition before the end of 2023.

You can also view hard copies of the Discussion Paper and associated maps at the Braidwood Office – 144 Wallace St, Braidwood.
