Consultation has concluded

Council’s ‘Beefing up Braidwood’ project is assisting drought-affected farmers around Braidwood to manage their weed issues. The project is funded by the Federal Governments’ Communities Combating Pests and Weed Impacts During Drought Program - Biosecurity Management of Pests and Weeds. The project includes the development of a local weed management plan to define priority agricultural assets, priority weeds that pose an economic impact on those assets and appropriate weed management actions. The draft Braidwood grazing industry weed management plan is now ready for public consultation.

The draft plan will be open for community comment from Monday 13 January 2020 until Monday 24 February 2020.
