Consultation has concluded
The draft Braidwood Structure Plan guides future changes in land use and growth in Braidwood. It is a strategic planning priority in Council’s Local Strategic Planning Statement Towards 2030.
In 2024 Council exhibited a discussion paper, which was the first step in developing the structure plan. We held community meetings and community drop-in sessions in March and April. The outcomes from the discussion paper and submissions have formed the basis of the draft Braidwood Structure Plan.
Council now wants to hear from the community on the draft plan.
The document is available in the document library on this page and you can also view hard copies of the draft plan at the Braidwood Office – 144 Wallace St, Braidwood. The High Resolution version of the document will be easier to read and see, but is a larger file.
The exhibition period has been extended until 25 March. Staff from Council's land-use planning team will be available at the Braidwood Customer Service office on Tuesdays from 9am-12pm and 1-4pm until the end of the exhibition period if you'd like to discuss the draft plan.
