What is the Community Strategic Plan?

and long term aspirations. The Plan covers a 10-year horizon and is considered the community's plan
Why do we need a Community Strategic Plan?
The Community Strategic Plan outlines the community's priorities and aspirations which Council will aspire to work towards during its term in office. To find out more about Community Strategic Planning, see the Integrated Planning and Reporting pages on the NSW Office of Local Government website
How does Council respond to this document?
The elected Council will develop a Delivery Program, which covers their term in office. The Delivery Program is Council's response to the Community Strategic Plan and sets out the services, programs and projects Council intends to undertake during its term in office to move towards achieving the aspirations of the community.
When will the Delivery Program be developed?
The Delivery Program will be developed in early 2018 and will involve community engagement in March-April.
