Draft Contaminated Land Policy for feedback

We are seeking feedback on the draft Contaminated Land Policy and the Contaminated Land Guideline.

The policy and guideline have been written to help Council, residents and anyone undertaking development respond to contaminated land.

A Standard Remediation Action Plan for private land in Captains Flat has also been developed as part of the work of the Captains Flat Lead Management Taskforce. The Standard Remediation Action Plan only applies to minor or smaller works on residential properties and to existing dwellings. It does not apply to new dwellings, subdivisions or a vacant block of land.
