The information below formed part of our original consultation.

In accordance with section 38 of the Local Government Act 1993, Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council hereby gives notice of the public exhibition of re-categorised Council Community land to be placed in a new Plan of Management (PoM) and amend a number of existing Plans of Managements (PoMs).

  1. A new draft Plan of Management - General Community Use (GCU) for land at 16 Agnes Avenue Crestwood. The new draft PoM re-categorises Lots 33, 34 and 35 DP 14341 (adjoining Ross Road) to provide future management of the land.

    It is intended that the land be developed for the purposes of a respite care facility in order to provide short-term residential accommodation for people between the ages of 18 and 59 years who are suffering from terminal or chronic illness.

  2. An amended PoM – Sportsgrounds (Amendment No. 5) which removes Lots 33, 34 & 35 DP 14341 from the PoM and to reflect the re-categorisation of Lots 53, 54, & 55 DP 14341 to PoM – Parks.

  3. An amended PoM – Parks (Amendment No. 6) to include Lots 53, 54 & 55 DP 14341 in that plan and to correct errors
