Consultation has concluded

Council has prepared a draft Resourcing Strategy and we are now seeking input from the community. The Local Government Act 1993 requires all councils to prepare a Resourcing Strategy indicating the resources that are required to implement the strategies established by the Community Strategic Plan and Delivery Program. Our draft Resource Strategy has identified five key components:

  • Strategic Workforce Management Strategy
  • Asset Management Strategy
  • Long Term Financial Plan
  • ICT Strategy
  • Risk Management Strategy

We are placing the strategy out for public comment now so that once the new Council is elected in September we will be able to report back with the public submissions for their consideration, and the final adoption of the Resourcing Strategy.

This strategy will help inform the new Council with the development of a new Delivery Program.
