We are seeking the community’s feedback on the Equal Employment Opportunity Policy.
The policy has been reviewed and there are no changes proposed.
Background
The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policy ensures everyone at working at Council, including potential employees, is treated fairly. It covers access to services, hiring, training, promotions, and work conditions. The policy also promotes diversity to reflect the community and supports an inclusive workplace by removing barriers, encouraging new ideas, and offering flexible ways of working.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Policy is open for community comment from Thursday 28 August until 25 September 2025. The documents may be viewed:
- In the electronic Document Library on this page
- At Council’s Customer Service Centres, between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday
Feedback can be provided on the proposed names by:
- Completing an Online Submission Form (below)
- Emailing it directly to council@qprc.nsw.gov.au with the subject title "Equal Employment Opportunity Policy"
- Handwriting your submission and delivering it to Council's Customer Service Centres
- Posting your submission to PO Box 90, Queanbeyan NSW 2620
Only written submissions will be considered, and these must be received by Council before Thursday 25 September 2025. Any submissions received may be included in the final report to Council.
