Council endorsed names for 8 open spaces in Googong Neighbourhoods 3, 4 and 5.

Background
Googong Township (GTPL) is a master-planned community, with a range of open spaces and parks.
It has a rich cultural history and connection to the Ngunawal people, who are recognised as the Traditional Custodians.
The names for the open spaces in Googong Neighbourhoods 3, 4, and 5 were chosen to honour cultural heritage and follow Council's naming guidelines. These names reflect the connection to local landforms, plants, and history.
The names were developed in collaboration with GTPL and the Ngunawal Cultural Heritage group.
The proposed names and locations are shown on the map of Googong and image available in the document library. The table below provides details:
