Draft Review of Environmental Factors on public exhibition
The existing stormwater pipeline that passes under the former Hoover Road landfill site at the eastern end of Hoover Road has collapsed and the area upstream of the collapse is now subject to increased risk of inundation. This area includes private properties. As a result, QPRC needs to construct a new stormwater pipeline to service the residential area located to the west of Hoover Road.
We have prepared a design for a new stormwater alignment underneath the existing gravel road on the southern side of the former landfill. A Review of Environmental Factors (REF) has also been prepared. We are inviting comments from the public on the proposed works.
The objective of the proposal is to re-establish a working stormwater system and to protect residential buildings from potential flooding in the area.
The REF will be on public exhibition from 14 May 2020 until 11 June 2020. Find the documents in the document library.
