We are seeking feedback on the revised Public Interest Disclosure (PID) Strategic Policy. The policy has undergone an internal review and has had some minor amendments made.
Proposed changes have been highlighted in yellow in the document, and are summarised below:
- Establishing alignment to satellite policies
- Updating who the policy does not apply to
- Protection from liability for own past conduct - updated
- General support - updated
- The Disclosure Coordinator - updated
- How QPRC will protect the confidentiality of the maker of a voluntary PID - updated
- How QPRC will assess and minimise the risk of detrimental action - updated
- Record keeping requirements – expanded
- Annexure A – updated
