Consultation has concluded
In accordance with Schedule 1 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, Council is placing on public exhibition the amended Planning Proposal for Jumping Creek. This plan applies to the Jumping Creek site, located near the locality of Greenleigh, approximately 3km south-east of the Queanbeyan central business district.
This plan has been prepared under Section 3.33 the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, and provides for Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council to rezone identified land to E2 Environmental Conservation Zone and RE1 Public Recreation Zone; and to make other minor changes to maps and provisions applying to Lot 5 DP 1199045 at Jumping Creek. The proposed zones for the currently deferred matters lands at Jumping Creek will prohibit residential development.
