Consultation has concluded

A new QPRC Swimming Pool Inspection Program has been developed. This Program relates to the inspection, monitoring, and educational promotion of all pools and pool fencing, both public and private, within the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council local government area. It has been developed to ensure that Council fulfils its obligations under both the Swimming Pools Act 1992 and the Public Health Act 2010.

The Policy is available in the document library on the right.

Submissions on the program will be received until 4.30pm on 27 November and can be made here on this website by commenting below, or by email to health.environment@qprc.nsw.gov.au (subject line: Swimming Pool Inspection Program), by mail to PO Box 90, Queanbeyan NSW 2620 or delivered in person to either the Queanbeyan, Braidwood or Bungendore office.
