Review Mobile Food Vending Policy 2024

The Mobile Food Vending Policy was adopted in November 2021 and is now up for review. The policy provides guidance on where Council would consider issuing approval to a mobile food vendor to trade in a public space. A main focus of the Policy is clarifying suitable roadside locations for the safe operation of mobile food vending that:

• allows safe customer access (including parking)
• general traffic safety and awareness, and
• does not inhibit existing pedestrian movement.

There are no proposed changes to the existing policy.
