Consultation has now concluded
The Procedures for the Administration of the Code of Conduct is now up for review. It was adopted by Council in September 2020. There are no changes proposed to the existing document.
Councillors, administrators, members of staff of councils, delegates of councils, (including members of council committees that are delegates of a council) and any other person a council’s adopted code of conduct applies to, must comply with their council’s code of conduct.
These procedures set out how breaches of the code of conduct are to dealt with. It sets out how complaints can be made, and are dealt with against Councillors and staff.
