We are seeking the community’s feedback on the Roadside Vegetation Management Policy.

The policy has been reviewed with no changes.

Policy aims

The policy aims to balance the competing needs of roads, road safety and road infrastructure with the ongoing conservation of roadside verges and reserves, particularly in areas identified as high conservation value.

The Roadside Vegetation Management Policy is open for community comment from Monday 2 February until Monday 2 March 2026. Read the document above.

Feedback can be provided on the proposed names by:

  1. Completing an Online Submission Form (below)
  2. Completing the quick poll (Yes or No)
  3. Emailing feedback directly to council@qprc.nsw.gov.au with the subject title "Roadside Vegetation Management Policy review"
  4. Handwriting your submission and delivering it to Council's Customer Service Centres
  5. Posting your submission to PO Box 90, Queanbeyan NSW 2620

Submissions must be received by Council by Monday 2 March 2026. Any submissions received may be included in the final report to Council.
