The policy has been reviewed by staff and is being presented to Council with no proposed changes.
Background
The policy aims to establish a consistent standard for signage that serves as "remote supervision" at Council facilities. It makes sure there are clear guidelines for the placement, location, frequency, and content of signs to minimise public liability risks.
It applies to all signage at Council facilities, including reserves, parks, pools, and waterways that are owned, operated, or managed by the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council.
