Consultation has concluded
In October 2016, Council adopted its interim Strategic Directions – a suite of five statements derived from the former Palerang and Queanbeyan Community Strategic Plans. Work has continued since October 2016 to finalise the Strategic Directions and present them to the community via a discussion paper.
In line with the merger ‘roadmap’ established by the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, councils are required to seek community feedback on the interim directions and actions to guide the 2017-18 Operational Plan that is to be adopted before the new Council is elected in September 2017.
The Strategic Directions Discussion Paper can be downloaded on the right and residents are encouraged to provide comment via the survey below.
