Heart of the Nation is a registered charity which aims to improve survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest. The charity was started by Greg Page (the original yellow wiggle) after he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on stage in 2020. Greg's life was saved by those around him performing CPR and using a AED machine.
Heart of the Nation will gift QPRC and the community with 10 x AED’s to:
Increase the number of publicly available AED’s to bolster community response to SCA
Promote an increased awareness amongst community of what an AED is
Encourage business owners within the community to purchase AED’s and make them available to the community when needed
QPRC are partnering with Heart of the Nation to gain an understanding of people’s knowledge and locations of AED’s in your community. Even if you are unsure what or where AED’s are, please continue with the survey as these results will help shape our future training and potential future locations of these life saving devices.
