Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council has developed a concept design to upgrade the shared path crossing on McEwan Avenue and would like public feedback.

The upgraded infrastructure is designed to ensure safety is maintained for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians whilst also creating a more user friendly crossing for cyclists and pedestrians.

The proposed works include line marking of the road, Extension of the kerb to minimise the road width and replacement of the existing guard rail.

Council is seeking comments on the concept design and feedback on the communities preferred option between 5 April 2017 and 4 May 2017.
