During late 2024 and November 2025, our Waste team engaged extensively with the community on the waste strategy. We heard that the operating hours of our waste transfer stations are unclear and inconvenient. While this feedback has been valuable, it has mostly been informal.

We are inviting the community to complete a survey on waste transfer station operating hours. This will help us better understand your needs and preferences as we work to improve access by potentially adjusting operating hours.

Your participation in this survey will play a key role in shaping these potential changes. Your feedback will guide staff in proposing improvements that align with the community’s needs.

Feedback can be provided by:

  1. Completing the online survey below
  2. Downloading the survey from the documents and emailing it to council@qprc.nsw.gov.au with the subject title "Waste Transfer Station operating hours"
  3. Providing a completed survey to our customer service team (hard copy surveys are available at our customer service centres).

Submissions must be received by Council by Monday 18 May 2026. Feedback will be used to inform recommendations to Council for future improvements.
