Landscape plan for Farrer Place

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council has developed a concept design to upgrade the median strip along Farrer Place and would like public feedback.

This project will be part of Queanbeyan’s continued beautification works to enhance the city’s image of a main gateway entrance to the town.

The proposed works include the removal of six pencil pine trees from Farrer Place in 2017, remove a further eight in 2018-2019, and replace with an avenue of Pyrus cultivar trees as well as additional plantings of coloured perennials throughout. View the plan in the document to the right.

Council is seeking comments on the concept design between 18 April 2017 and 16 May 2017.
