Consultation has concluded

The draft Risk Management policy sets out responsibilities, practices and methods to be employed to ensure risks are consistently managed in accordance with Council’s risk appetite.

Council’s risk appetite outlines the level of risk that may be accepted while undertaking service delivery, regulatory and organisational management activities. It assists Council staff to determine whether the degree of risk arising from an activity is acceptable, or requires mitigation through the implementation of further practices, policies, systems or management actions that reduce the likelihood of adverse events, or their potential impact.
