Ingleside Park upgrades
Consultation has now concluded
Ingleside Park is located in Ingleside Road, Queanbeyan. Council has $40,000 to upgrade the softfall and shade at the park. We are proposing to install a shade sail over one of the playgrounds, and possibly upgrade the landscaping to include additional tree planting.
We'd like to hear your feedback on our plans and any other ideas you might have. Comments will be open until 29 January.

Regular mowing, install a toilet, move the bin
More regular mowing to keep the weeds in check would be a better use of financial resources - this park is often overgrown. If the budget allows, then a toilet would entice people to spend more time there rather than up and leave as soon as your little person needs to go to the toilet. And I would also recommend that the only rubbish bin is moved closer to the play area - maybe more people will put the rubbish in the bin if they can see it. BTW, any extra trees will get in the way of playing area - at the moment its a great space to kick the footy.

whilst I commend the park grade upgrade concept I would like council to confirm expenditure is included and approved in Council's Management Plan and that the Park upgrades are consistent with the objectives of Community Land Plans of Management. This can be done in the description of the proposed work.
